The original ask was a series of signs on easels honoring children lost in the past year. I saw an opportunity to create a space where guests could pause, spend time with their stories, and remember what made each child uniquely themselves.
I developed the concept into a walkthrough exhibit and designed individual panels around each child’s photographs, personality, and story. Letters shared by their families became handwritten backgrounds, surrounding each portrait with words from the people who knew them best.
Illuminated panels and children’s voices playing through surround sound brought the experience together, creating an entry rooted in remembrance and a personal connection to the evening’s purpose.

The entry experience set the tone. The event materials carried that story into the rest of the Soiree.
I designed a coordinated collection of collateral that connected the evening visually, from the event program to the pieces guests encountered throughout the night, and leading up to the event. Consistent color, typography, and storytelling gave each piece a place in the larger experience, keeping the children and the foundation’s purpose at the center.
